Unexpressed emotion builds into chronic stress and tension. And as it becomes more uncomfortable and exhausting to be in our bodies, we only disconnect more—continuing a cycle that distances us from ourselves, unable to feel the joy or the simple pleasures, express our needs, and truly hear the deeper intuitive messages our bodies are trying send us.

..and sure, you’d love to do something about it, but the world pulls you constantly outward, demanding more energy, more attention, more doing—and underneath, you’re just so done.

I get it.

I intimately know what it is to feel like a mess on the inside, but trying to keep it all together on the outside. After the birth of my daughter I found myself in a place I didn’t recognise - years of stored experiences, trauma and suppressed emotion were bubbling up in me, my emotions were overwhelming, my body was tense and on high alert, and all the tools - the meditation, the yoga - I’d relied on before to cope, no longer worked.

The support I reached out for didn’t even touch the surface and I was desperate for relief, for understanding, and I didn’t know how to process it all while also navigating a new born, single motherhood, and the fall out of my divorce. It was a lot and I’d had enough.

I realised that I needed something that worked with my body's intelligence rather than trying to override or "fix" it. I needed practices that felt like permission, processes that I could weave into real life, not escape from it.

Through developing what I now call The Soft Animal Body, I found my way back to myself—not through bypassing difficult emotions or pushing harder, but through allowing my body to do what it does best.

Finding this has been the single most liberating, enlivening and important thing in my entire life.

I’ve guided hundreds of women to reclaim their natural aliveness, and discovering the deep peace and power that comes from living in harmony with their wild, animal nature.
